So far it works great.
This Craftsman 4-cycle Backpack Leaf Blower is a great purchase if you value your time and energy, I have a lot of trees in my yard and this time in the fall, it usually takes many hours a day for several weeks to collect the leaves by the old method of raking or using an electric leaf blower. It is easy to start, lightweight, uses regular gas that doesn't have to be mixed, and is easy to maneuver. Plus, you don't have to be hassled with dragging an electric cord behind you that keeps getting caught up on things. I would highly recommend this leaf blower if you value your time and energy.
I agree with JfromManalapan. I purchased in Jan 2012, only use to blow leave in the fall so this is my 3rd year to use it and the piston has broken and will cost more to fix than to buy a new one. I have done nothing but blow leaves and have kept it maintained. Seems to know when to break, when the 2 year warranty has run out. So much for Craftsman being guaranteed for life!!!
I bought a Craftsman backpack blower for my husband & he loves it. I love it too! Easy to carry & yard looks great.
I purchased this blower and am very satisfied with its performance.
I purchased this 4 cycle Craftsman Back-Pack blower before last fall, and since then, I've used it to clean up my yard and blow my driveway clear of snow!! I purchased an ECHO 2 cycle back-pack blower for $500 and I'll tell you what.....for the extra $250 you'll leave in your pocket, the craftsman is durable, powerful and easy to use!!! For the homeowner, this is the best bang for your American dollar!! I've tested them all!!
Very useful item good price
I was disappointed with the power, or lack there of. Instead of returning it immediately, I kept it and wasted many additional hours every time I used it. In order to use the following fall, it needed to be brought in for service due to failure to start. By the end of the second season, it began to have starting issues again. You had to "play" with throttle and settings to get it started. Finally, it would not start. Last year I went back to my smaller, electric blowers. I do not wish to pay $100 to get this fixed so it is going into the garbage! A true WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! I wouldn't recommend to someone I strongly disliked.
It is effective and a lot easier to use than the ones you hold. I like that I can just put it on my back and blow the yard as I have over an acre to keep clean
Used for one season, just barely. after just a few hours of use it started losing power. By the end of the season it looks as if the motor is blown, I called sears, they wont honor any warranty claim on it, and refuse to tell me what parts I might need to replace. ( im guessing piston, rings, and gaskets, but I can;t get the info. I love craftsman, but they are selling a horrible product in this blower.
