It's been 29 years since I have had to purchase a frig WOW. This is a very sleek model. If you are looking for a basic frig this is for you., no fancy frills. The large draw is a nice feature. It is also very quite.
It appears small but holds a lot food. Has great depth to it. Great for someone with a budget and small space in there kitchen. I highly recommend it.
seems to work fine..plenty of room
the seal of the refrigerator was not working properly and the repair person came last wednesday 8/20 and claimed to have fixed the problem and left. fortunately, i was at home and noticed there was still a gap between the door seal and the refrigerator. the repariman came back and agreed the seal was defective and needed to be replaced. he said he would order the seal and come back to install it but i have still not heard from him or from Sears
As others have mentioned, I too am having a build up of frost in the freezer. Everything is coated in frost, including the ice cubes/trays. I didn't have this issue with my old 22 year old one I just got rid of, as it was a Whirlpool and actually 'frost free'. I also don't like the fact that the pantry drawer does not come out all the way, only 1/2 way, so to clean it, the entire shelf must be removed with the drawer. There's also a lot of condensation inside the refrigerator portion and the unit is very loud. I'll try adjusting the temperature for another week, than after that, I will have to call for warranty service. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Would have given 4 (rarely give 5) stars but when we received it we discovered that the two light bulbs in the refrigerator section lack a protective cover. Since they're positioned directly over the top shelf they create a safety hazard because it would be easy to break them while moving items around. We've been working with Sears Parts for over two weeks and they've been unable to find a Frigidaire part to shield the light bulbs. I would recommend the fridge but with the caveat that the situation described herein creates a potential hazard.
Good basic utilitarian fridge.
I bought this fridge for my new apart, ent, it has no fridge so I was obligated to buy or rent one. So I decided to buy a brand new me. The only place I knew I could get one that's quality and affordable is sears. I checked online and went in person to see it. I like the light n the freezer, and inside the fridge I can store juice or water or other bottles. The fridge gets so cold, I have to put it on the lowest setting which i like a lot. I like the basket part for fruitsand vegetables. It keeps my fruits fresh. It's a really good fridge and the storagespace makes me happy. Ps the fridge does make noise, but who cares.
So far, this fridge is perfect for us. I didn't have enough vertical space to allow for a side by side fridge like I wanted so I saved a ton of money and went with this fridge. I like the layout options for shelves and the shelves all seem sturdy. So far I've had it just a few weeks and it's serving it's purpose well- no complaints thus far. I didn't realize it wasn't solid flat black the whole thing- the sides of the fridge are textured, not smooth.
This one isn't the largest and doesn't have the most options but it fit the space in our kitchen, is energy efficient and was a great value.
I like the fridge. Lots of room. Nice staff at Sears and very nice delivery people. Really appreciate the storage bins on the door. Love the fact that it is clear plastic on the inside which allows you to see what is in the storage areas without opening them. The bottom storage bin on the door made it a bit harder to close the door, so we took it off and the door closes perfectly now. Will continue to shop at Sears.
