Excellent for raising the washer and dryer up to level that the older generation can easily access the appliance. One improvement could be printing a caution inside the drawer warning of the maximum weight the drawer can support since it isn't listed on the web page or in the literature. We also have other LG products (stove, fridge & microwave) that are six years old. Product quality, performance, and customer support has been excellent.
I had the original TROMM steam washer and loved it. This one has taken that concept and improved upon it. I like the cold water cycle. The washer seems more efficient in determining the cycle length compared to the old one. My only issue is that the cycle modification buttons are near impossible to read without shining a light on them. LG should either abandon the buttons and go with a touch screen interface or backlight them. I had to resort to using the label maker. Other than that this washer does not disappoint. I also own the matching dryer and have a LG French Door refrigerator with two freezer drawers. I am sold on their products.
Draw is not very sturdy and there is no where to sit the clothes basket to load and unload. My previous pedestal for my Kenmore washer had a removal platform on top of the draw that supported a basket..
Works as advertised. Good thing to have.
I was not going to get a pedestal but the fact it was high enough to put my detergent in changed my mine.
When we purchased our new washer and dryer we did not purchase the pedestals because of the cost. I liked the front loaders, but with my bad back it was getting increasingly difficult to bend down for unloading the washer and loading the dryer. We found the pedestals on sale, and I am SO HAPPY!!! They attached solidly to the appliances, and they are so nice and roomy. I was afraid they might make the washer vibrate too much, but so far they are fine. Thanks, Sears!
