The Craftsman brand is generally a better product than allot of the other junk out there. The extractors seem to be a little harder and stand up to more abuse. The drill bits are just ok. Standard (HSS)
Extractors break way to easy.
All the drill bits broke within the first few minutes of use.I bought new cryogenically process bits, much better.
I had a brass drain plug stuck in an alloy block it required a huge amount of force to remove and the large extractor did the trick.
This is a great set of tools to have if you are looking to create work. I have broken all but one of these trying to remove stuck bolts. They are made of extremely brittle steel. More like pretzel sticks than tools. The big problem comes in after the extractor breaks off in the bolt you are trying to remove. Now you have hardened steel to remove. They are junk. Of course they are made in China, where all the **** comes from. Buy American (you get that Sears..Sell American)
the very first time I went to use this, the screw extractor that I needed broke right off!
These simply break and make the job harder.
not a good tool
The first time I used one of the easy outs (the #3) it broke without getting the screw out. When I took it back to the store in Angola, Indiana I was told there is no warranty.
broke first time i used it would not recommend
