Shipped folded in half in a box. It is as thin s a futon seat.
My kids love there bed its the first bed they have ever had they be in the bed every day playing their game they are 11 abd 12 .This bed is 4he best bed and the best thing that could ever happen to my kids.
I realize this was a cheap mattress, but I figured that was because it was a bunk mattress. It arrived rolled up, I didn't even know we'd received a mattress. It is super hard, not comfortable. No support, it needs support underneath it. It is also too short for every twin bed frame that we own. Not impressed at all. I wish I had read the reviews! Don't waste your money!
I bought it for my children's bunk bed and rec'd no complaints from them. However I did notice it was a bit empty as far as support, I would make sure it suits your needs. It will do for us, for now my son is 6 yrs old so his weight
Not that great. Needed some kind of bottom framing for a bunkbed mattrress. I am using it with a memory foam topper for my Son when he comes home for the holidays for Christmas.
I made the mistake of ordering this before looking at the reviews, dont make my same mistake. This "mattress" comes folded over on itself and stuffed into a box. Its really not much of a mattress at all. I suppose it would be fine for a cot or a temporary (one night) use, but I cant see anyone sleeping on this thing full time. It is flimsy, hard and extremely uncomfortable... And it's going back to sears this afternoon.
I dont know if this was the specific one we bought but it didnt even fit the bunk bed plus the mattress fell through the slots on the bed.very crappy.
The mattress is incredibly thin and hard. My children can't even sleep on it. We threw the old mattresses out so now we are going to buy padded matteress covers just so they can sleep at night.
This item is more like a mattress cover filled with a recycled fiber of some kind.
Might be a good substitute if the price was right ($40-$50) not $120.
