I really like the storage unit I purchased. It looked good and was exactly what I wanted. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was 1 of the wall panels was messed up on the corner(we put it facing inside so you couldn't see it from the outside) also one of the shelves was messed up and we faced the part that was damaged toward the bottom so you couldn't see it. I was going to send it back but my husband said it was too much trouble and unless you knew it was there you wouldn't be able to see it. I do love it though and I will be ordering another. It doesn't take up a lot of room and holds so much.
This is a pretty, and very easy to assemble cabinet. It's made of laminated press board so it's fairly easily damaged - mine were damaged a bit in shipping - I bought four and all had some tiny damage - but nothing too bad - just small crushed edges, etc. and once it's assembled that won't be in danger anymore (I think that, at 108 pounds each, they were so heavy they were "plopped" or dropped during shipping). Anyway, they look very pretty and are quite sturdy once the shelves are placed and I'm thrilled with the look. Glad I bought them!
I bought this cabinet over 3 years ago to hold books and misc in my room. It was easy to assemble and it looks great. Nice and sturdy, which most build it yourself things are not. I love mine so much I bought another for my son. His holds books, video games, dvds and school books. It is great!!
This is a very affordable cabinet and it meets our needs very well. It comes with leveling feet that work very well especially when you have an older home with some irregularity in the floors. The leveling feet also help in ensuring that the cabinet stays 'square' when it is loaded up with heavy items. The shelves are deep and the doors open wide for easy access. The assembly was easy but just make sure you have a large flat area to do the assembly. The only thing that annoyed me was that the ad at Sears.Com does say that the cabinet is constructed of SOLID WOOD (I just re-verified this). I would not really consider particle board to be solid wood although once the cabinet was fully assembled and leveled in a permanent location the cabinet is very solid (weighs about 100 lbs) and looks very nice. We loaded the cabinet right up and I do not expect any problems since all of the parts during assembly fit very tightly and exact. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.
