The toaster works ok, I was a little disappointed that the bread does not go all the way down when you are trying to toast it. However, for 8 dollars, you get what you pay for
I replaced it once and the $5 it cost is not worth it. It is the worst toasted I have ever used.
Proctor Silex 2 Slice Toaster,. It works fine.
I got this on sale at Sears. It is an excellent toaster for the price. I can't think of anything to make it better.
It's a low end toaster, the weird thing is that pushing down does not lower the bread. Pushing down is only to start toasting timer, so you have to push the bread all the way down first yourself. it's getting the bread out it's when you pull the lever up instead.
It makes ok toast. It is very small and fels a bit cheap. It was cheap nso no great expectations and really being small could be an asset. Anyway it does make toast like it was made to do, just don't expect the toast to 'pop' when it is done, weak spring for that
Shorted and smoked like crazy on first use.. :( Very unsafe to handle this item.
Cancel button is on temp set ****. Lacks spring action so toast does not pop up very high when done.
Honestly, this product was $5 and it reflects this in it's durability and overall use. The handle doesn't want to work when pushing down to begin toasting. At first I thought it was broken but then realized it's just how it's made. At $5 I can't complain too much...It makes toast!
